Description

The Way of War is a tactical turn-based role-playing game for the table top. The game can be played with action figures or miniatures and is a hybrid of tactical strategy games and role-playing games. Buying this product you will get a manual for playing the game with action figures and another manual for playing the game with miniatures. As this is the Core Rulebook you will need this book in order to play any of the Campaign Books.

The game setting is set in a real 3-D environment with characters that improve with experience and training. Game turns go back and forth in the classic “you go, I go” system. Each character gets a certain amount of Action Points per turn, which determine what that character can do that turn. Moving, shooting, operating a vehicle, interacting with terrain, using equipment all costs Action Points limiting what you can do each turn. There is also an interrupt system allowing you to interrupt the opponent during their turn if they move into your line of sight.

As of August 2020, Version 3.0 the Layout Version has been released. This new version is more organized, but may require more arts and crafts time.
